A REMINDER TO LET YOU KNOW ABOUT 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN

I wanted to let everyone know that loves halloween. That I have teamed up with Jean over at jeans crafty corner for 31 days of spook-tac-lar halloween fun projects. We will be making a halloween project for the whole month of oct. This is our way of giving you all a halloween treat. haunted house candy holder

I wanted to make a candy holder to hold alot of candy plus hide it from the kids ha
I use the princess cart cut the castle at fit to page which is 11 and a half cut four times put together I cut out an extra for a pattern so I could glue on inside to cover up windows and make it solid to put candy in added lots of little stickers and there you have it.

when I discover amy over at www.lovetocrop.com was having a link up party and giving away goodies well I have to enter. As you know my granddaughter is turning 2 so we are doing the mickey minnie theme so yes I have something to enter. I made this minnie cupcake favor box
here is the how to.
just use sweet tooth box cart cut at 10 in
then use mickey and friends cart minnie at 3in glued to a 2in scallop punch so the box will still open. then I sprinkled with stars. now who doesnt like minnie or mickery hop over to amys and enter your 3-d project also have links for cards and scrapbook layouts. you have till oct 3 then she will pick a winner for some goodies. hugs

welcome to the first challenge for cuttin up with class

jani at www.papercompulsions.blogspot.com has started a new challenge blog every tues called
www.cuttinupwithclass.blogspot.com she gives everyone a cut from her files either svg or pdf template to copy and make something using that image anywhere on their project. you can make anything as long as the image is somewhere on the project. to read more about the challenge hop over to her blog. we have a very talented design team which you can find their names and link over to their blog from the top of my sidebar. well now onto the challenge. Its a pumpkin cut you can either us the lg pumpkin or small I choice the large and kept it the same size as the original I printed. I cut 5 sets out of pattern paper- glittered the leafs and added middle of the pumpkin with pop up stickers to give a lift away from the main pumpkin. then i drew the faces on glued pumpkins along the picket fence box which I bought at a g-sale and altered it. the flowers on fence are cut at 2in from princess party cart. glued on and added glitter. I made this as a halloween card holder and made the monster cards from wild card cart cut them at 4in and the envelopes at 4 and a half. now I hope you can join us every tues for some fun.

celebrate the ocassion no.32

this week at celebrate the ocassion it is challenge 32 any ocassion but must use ribbon
I cut this shoe at 4in from rock princess cart cut four times to make the card shoe
take two shoes lay side by side and glue a strip to each side to make the card then fold and glue on the other two cuts to cover up strip on inside. cut layers of shoe 4in add a ribbon and you have a cute birthday card which says. wishing "shoe" a happy birthday. now hop over and join in on the challenge http://www.celebratetheoccasion.blogspot.com

ballerina and witch sock monkeys

heres a little gift I made for my sons girlfriend she loves sock monkeys so I made a ballerina one with a tutu and below my grand daughter had to make her a halloween one.

eriona is my granddaughter she is 5 I sewed the monkey but she decorated it the way she wanted even the colorful tutu. this is her witch shes so proud of it. ha

halloween party favors for my g-daughters kinder class

I made witches shoes for the girls and smashing witches on a door with a candy kiss for hat and a match box to fill with candy

I made this witches hat for teacher started with a styrofoam cone and filled with candy the rim of hat is a cake circle covered with paper of choice cut 2 in larger then circle

For the hop today I have created an apple bushel basket for fall centerpiece on my table

Start with a 8 in cake circle for bottom of basket, cut 8 2 by 5 in strips of brn. I used antique

spray and sponged off- and then sponged yellow and more browns for it to look like real basket

glue now glue your strips at bottom of cake circle then cover bottom with another cake circle to cover up your strips.

now connect three strips together with glue for top. now cut 1 in strips to weave in and out of basket. cover all strips at top with 2 in red strips on inside and out.

handles are on with wire and made the handles wrapped with green out of the plastic on tampax ha

now it is ready to fill with all those fall goodies, tag is cut from wrap it up cart at 4in and stamped all for me!
