monster high bow holder

hello everyone, Just wanted to let you know I am doing fine, I have decided to get up and do something. I have one arm and a little use of my hand so my stuff may not be up to parr. ha
I have a step granddaughters birthday coming up. I am making her monster high , she loves these dolls
I will post the mini later, this is the bow holder I made for her. Just wanted to share. glad to be back. hugs

thanks for all the kind words

want to tell all that posted kind words about my surgery. I had surgery friday at noon, but more bad luck came before then, my sons house burned down, so now they are all staying with me until the insurance and everything gets fixed it was electrical that was at 3 am in the morning, thank god everyone got out safely I cant craft yet I can type a little, just wanted to wish everyone a merry christmas. I feel I am blessed no matter if I had a bad end of the year. Next year is looking great lol

won't be around for awhile

I am sorry I havent been around. I have been having troubles with my right arm shoulder. After four months of pain and fighting the lovely insurance company I finally am having surgery dec 21st.
I am wearing a sling right now and is very hard to do anything since I am right handed. Although this does suck I will be really glad to get it fixed. Just wanted to let all that have been concerned about me. I thank you for noticing I havent been around. hugs and have a merry christmas.

dtc time- design team inspiration

 welcome to another challenge at www.decoratetocelebrate.blogspot.com  The challenge is over the hill party decorations. This one I did is the way I feel! ha Over the hill, and my parts are falling with me. ha I made these funny table decorations some bottle pop glasses, false teeth and gray hair confetti.
the small b-day cake is a tea light wrapped with paper and a scallop top to look like a birthday cake. I cant remember where I seen this but not my idea but had to do it.  The false teeth are simply done by cutting out shape folding in middle and adding white cut like teeth plan on putting gummie in it.
The eyeglasses are two tin containers, eyeballs are from smoke bombs I had at fourth of july. saved them they did come in handy then simply added pipecleaner for ear part. Look out for falling parts!
hair confetti is cut from paper doll cart at 2in.

Pilgram boy

Wanted to share my pilgram boy I made for my fireplace mantle. I started off with a oatmeal container.
then wrapped in blk, added strips for arms and accordian legs hand cut feet. drew on the face and the hat is from over the hill cart. Just love the way he turned out. hugs
