Spring is sprung! and on the inside it says we all couldnt be hoppier! I am entering this at http://www.craftspotbykimberly.blogspot.com/
the challenge is no.49 spring scallops, must be spring theme and include scallops.
I wanted to do something funny. I cut the frog from campin critters at 5in added the duck feet on frogs feet and head to look
like a chicken! I had these extra cuts. the scallop is cut at 3in from just because cards cart .
inside the frogs net is a bunny with his cotton tail sticking out. the flowers are stickers and so is the butterfly. drew the stems and grass. Hope this puts a smile on someones face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Splashing up Daisies! I am entering this at http://www.fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/ monday challenge.
the challenge- make a project using at least three flowers and list the carts you use.
this is my rainboot gift box! used paisley cart for the rainboot cut at 5in, I built the box around the cut
cut four times so you can add the heal, top and belt. The daiseys are cut from the giant flower cart, at 2in
I have added down below the front and back side so you can see the other flower.

I made these easter cuties to hang on my front door. the chicken is grandpa and the rabbit is me.
I cut chick from zoo cart and added some things shapes from george he is cut from fit to page on the big mat. both are.

I pieced together the bunny just from shapes from george cart had the glasses from some cuts I made a while back always keep to use on something. cut dress out from paper doll cart. They are really cute hanging on door. hugs

I decided I would start on some cards, so when I need one I dont have to rush and make one. This is just a simple spring card used flower paper added buttons and sm pinwheel at top and two glittered white flowers.

I have about five weddings coming up so I thought I better start making some cards. This is one of them.
I used newspaper print paper and a turquoise on top of that added ribbon a flower, cameo and rub on letters for the mr. and mrs.

my gd's school is have a night at the museum, Each class has a theme, I volunteered to cut somethings to go with the themes so they could hang up. This is for a woodworking theme, also cut 25 birdhouses for children to decorate and hang up.

transportation theme this is just four of what I cut, there are many more of different ways to get around!

ocean theme here are just a few of what I cut

jellyfish theme cut different colors with glitter paper.

zoo theme these are really cute and there are alot more and below is the zoo sign

this is animal facts- I looked up facts and wrote on cardstock and cut out the animal that goes with it
I also had backyard and bug theme- dinosaurs- outdoor paint- bubbles and water play theme.
I have been busy this weekend but did get finished I just thought I would share. hugs

my youngest gd that is 2 is crazy about choo choo trains! I decided to make this basket for her and set on table for decoration until time to fill it with goodies. I started with oatmeal box covered it then cut train from b is for boy at fit to page and the rabbit is on my cricut machine already cut at 6 in decorated both sides added handle and flower wheels are 2 and 1 in did in pink ha she is a girl she loves trains and trucks though wow! ha

Its time for a st patty party challenge at http://www.decoratetocelebrate.blogspot.com/ I hope you can join us for the fun! I made some fun party wear. First of all I made some beer glasses used pop up cards cart for the mugs cut at 7in and then cut the ear pieces from lifes a party at 3in the soccer ones.

next lets get out our st pat tie. I used wrap it up cart and cut at fit to page and then punched two holes at top and added elastic string.

and last but not least lets dont forget our headwear I bought a dollar band at dollar store. glued a st pat hat to top and added green tulle for band and some glittery shamrocks and a pair of lips on top of the shamrock.

now I am all set for st patricks day. I cant wait to see all of your ideas. the challenge starts march 7-20 you have plenty of time to party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

roller skate favor boxes

I wanted to make a really cute favor box for the skating party. So I worked on the pattern most of yesterday and this is how it worked out. I drew and handcut my own pattern for these skates.
I am going to fill with candy and a whistle and glow necklace. I only have 24 more to go! lol

My spoiled gd. lol wants a skating party for her class in may so I am getting started on the party decorations and invite. these invites I made using nifty fifties cartriage and cut all at 5in. hand wrote lets roll. Made them in five different colors that she picked out.

first used 2 dixie cups and a baby jar glue two dixie together glue baby jar on top the top of rocket is a party hat cut at 5in from lifes a party cart.

party confetti popper I will be making these to hang over each table prob. 5-6 to a table depending on how long the table pull the tissue paper and confettie stars fall out. I tested it and super cute.

I finally used my 50 state cart I have been wanting to make the map for a while now Sorry it is dark in the room I use for teaching kiddos and playroom. I cut the map out at 10.25 it fit together nicely and then I cut the facts out about kansas the state bird and flower and flag it looks really cute hanging up. welcome to the wizard of oz blog hop I hope if your a big fan you will find some inspiration and be kind enough to leave a comment. For this I have made the main characters these are centerpieces for each table filled with candy. all the dolls are cut from paper doll cartriage at fit the page then added all the details needed to make the characters from cart also. lion is the lion cut on cart dorthy is pilgram girl outfit, indian hair and just glittered her feet and cut bows for the shoes. drew all the faces myself

tin man used the knight cut and drew all the details and added stick on beads on the body ax is from pilgram

toto in basket, toto is from everyday cards cart basket started off with a 4 by 4 cardstock and started weaving with very heavy cardstock.

this is how the back looks these are tulle spools the dolls are glued on them thats how they stand by themselfs. For candy I will be filling the lion with toy metals, scarecrow with smarties, tin man choc heart candy and dorthy choc covered sunflowerseeds and toto will be filled with all of the above with some extras. I made a total of twenty six trucks candy will be put in the back of the truck for the party goers to take home. I made some of these cans to put etc. in I made the finish flag straws to be put on the table for cakes I am going to make different color cupcakes with those marshmallow choc cookies that look like big tires put them on top. for drinks will be having crushed ice and crush pop Just wanted to show everyone how they turned out before I ship them over to my nephew. hugs

challenge no. 18 at decorate to celebrate pink diva parties

welcome to another challenge, no 18 this challenge is all about the divas in our lifes, so we ask that you enter your decorations using mostly pink as the main colors this is a pink diva challenge. Today I have started on my granddaughters birthday party she wants pink poodles and it also worked perfect for this challenge. Here is a picture of all of it together I will post them seperate below and tell you how I did it.

first I have the pink poodle pinate it is a pull string. First I found a box tall enough for my poodle which I used the nifty fifties cart for all these decorations. I cut it at fit to pg glued on front of covered box cut bottom and added 8 pull strings tissued paper pink to the head ears tail belly.

these are the hanging lights,I used a sm dixie cup first make the tulle skirt then cut away the cup except to leave the top to stick the light in poodle is cut at 4in

heres a little more of what the lights look like.

these are some glasses for the divas party favors, cut glasses at 4in glued them on sweet cup then cut another pair to glue on back and cut poodles at 2in and glue on each end. the glasses are glittery but doesnt show to well.

now heres another cute favor to go with the sunglasses I used the lifes a party cart party hat for this cut at 5in then cut top off and add tulle and the belt and a poodle perfect for the diva

now this is a card holder made a mailbox then cut parts from the poodle cut added tissue it is really adorable this picture doesnt show its real cuteness. ha

monster jam truck birthday party decorations

whated to share with you the party decorations I am working on for my nephews which is 5 birthday party. I used a box first and filled it with items to make it heavy. then drew the monster mutt car and glued on the box to look like it is crushing the car under it which is cut from the cars cricut cartriage also standing with a box.

here are just a few of the boxes for favors I have made I am making 25 of these candy will go in the back I hand cut all these except the front of the wheels are 3in circles cut from cricut all the rest is me. this party is going to be a smashing good time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought these would be cute for valentines something different. I cut band-aide from b is for boy cart at 3in. wrote funny sayings on outside kiss my boo-boo valentine, I fell for you valentine, and love hurts!
and the middle part scratches off. used clear tacky paper and metallic paint for this on the back of band-aid I added I have a boo-boo valentine, my heart bleeds for you for sure, scratch the center and aid my cure!

valentine tablet says hoppin to catch the write stuff valentine kind to hard to get in picture.
used cart campin critter the frog with the net. cut at 3in for frog and used sign cut at 4in for front and back of tablet cut the rest of the shapes by hand clip together and added padding compound painted on edges twice let dry overnight and her you have your own writing tablet which you can do in many shapes instead of buying them. you can make your own note pads.Add caption

I kan-t help but love "roo"! I found this deer on clearance shelf for 50 cents I cut his antlers off thought he looked like a kangaroo- covered his candy container in hearts filled with valentine candy and wrapped around his neck. cute for the little ones.

my luv bug! I took a tulle roll I have lots of empty ones cut it into fourths. my but is about one and a ahalf in long.I cut a clear piece of plastic stuck on front and back but make sure you make a fastener for the back to get candy out. used pipe cleaners for legs pom for head hearts for wings and some google eyes and wire bent for antennas. now isnt he a cutie!

Your love is the real thing! used tags and bags match box bottom at 2in added dividers for the candy pop bottles. all the bottles are edible. added a pop bottle cap that has love on it.

Today I have decided to make my valentine party for my two granddaughters the princesses of my heart! I made a princess and frog favor boxes each one a crown and a wand. Lets make a date and hang out! start with a 8 by 10 canvas cover both sides with paper chalk edges.
make a frame back so it will stand cut monkey for arrival cart at 8in I decorated him with hearts date board is cork board covered with this calendar to mark a date just move the lip pins or whatever pins you have you could change out for each holiday. he is not only cute he is useful.!

Bee mine with all my heart! used wild card cart cut "square" at 10 1/4 in scored to fold and glue down then for the rest ofthe card I cut at an angle added brad a pin bee mine, a bumble bee made out of felt, added three candy hearts on the inside tied ribbon around and glued bee to it!

I wanted to show you the roses I made and the container is whoppers four cover them in valentine paper added a bottom stryofoam to stick roses in. and a card telling about how the roses never die and you can have a whopper of a time eating your candy valentine!

altered my hanging lamp

I have had this wicker hanging lamp forever, it was cracking and ugly, so I decided to make it over. I tore out all the wicker leaving the wire and covered it with lime green and white tulle picture not very good but it is so cute in my new room, granddaughter loves it. just thought I would share it.

yes, its a tic tac toe game, I bought the different colored tic tacs for each person o's and the x's the x-tra color they can eat ha, I cut the foot from the arrival cart at 5in double it for strength and drew the lines for the game and wrote tic tac toe on the toe! just wanted to share with you. a groovy 70's table centerpiece first I used a pop tart box turned it sideways and covered with some paper. cut out my van which you could use a camper cut for this but I cut out and drew it first then colored my peace love and groovy on it along with flowers and peace signs then glued it on the front of box. made groovy flowers cut from accent essentials at 3in and the circles for peace signs are at 2in. these would be cute on each table so everyone could grab a sucker.

Filled cell-o phane bags with m&ms and cute the rossette (hearts) at 2in it took four to make this. It is a simple project with a big impack. hope you can find time to make some. hugs

I'm a sucker for your love!!!!! First the container is made out of a tulle roll. I wrapped with valentine paper wrapped with glitter ribbon added glittered hearts filled with heart paper and stuck cut out hearts from george cart at one inch on top of the suckers. the tag is left over from before projects.

monster truck, I had my gd class write down what kind of box they would like to put their valentines in and here they are, so if you wonder why pumpkin thats what the little boy wrote down, how funny I tryed to make it look as much as valentines as i could. Now I started out with a oatmeal box for all these either turned sideways or standing up depending on the design. enjoy and I hope they give you much inspiration. tell me which is your favorite, I really like the way the cowboys came out.

I made these football party favors for a party I had last month. The boys loved them. I cut out a banner 5in usind sports mania cart and letters from george cart.

the candy bags are shaped footballs and tied and top they are the football card and just scored into a box for treats the goal post are pixie stix glued together and added football with name it is cut at 2in

today valentine will work for a treat for those valentine boxes at school and its a book mark also
cut book mark using wild card cart(frame) cut it at 6in the red heart you see is glued to back. it is about one and a half in I wrote stuck on you! glue a sm dot onto the gum with ribbon then wrap ribbon to back and glue ribbon on top of each other this way the book mark wont get messed up when gum is removed. I used princess paper it had cute frog with hearts on it perfect for valentines either boy or girl.

bow n arrow first of all the cello bag is from stampin up which you can order from norma at pink bling crafter. I added a pencil inside instead of candy. the hearts at each end are from george cart cut at one and a half in at the top cut little lines in heart to look like a feather. the heart tag is left over from day one just added a bling heart with it. now these will make cute favors for school party.

Today is the first day I have made these strawberry treats for my gd's class party. I know most of you have seen these before. If you havent you can find a free template to download at many sites just look around. I made the heart tags from wild card cart and cut them at 3in wrote sweet on front and valentine on the inside. I put dum-dum suckers in each side of strawberry and tied each one with green yarn. My new repainted , organized craftroom

I have wanted to repaint my craftroom for awhile now and finally decided to jump right in. ha I painted the walls lime green and topped off with hot pink. I love it so cheerful. here is my granddaughters space in closet

here is the wall I keep all my imbellisments and carts etc.

Now here is my project for the hop, I made mrs claus purse for hanging on the refrig with childrens picture with santa, I started off with those chipboard minis you get at micheals for a dolloar, this way I can make for then one for gifts. I covered purse in cardstock added a leather belt with an old earring for a buckel add a clip on top to hold picture and some merry christmas, santa embellisments, added two heavy magnets on back super easy super cute way to display those extra santa pictures. for my project today I have created a turkey centerpiece for my dinner table

I bought the pumpkin on clearance, I took four 12 by 12 pieces of scrapbook paper and accordian folded glued together to make a half rossette then glued to pumpkin.
I used create a critter the duck cut 2 at 8in cut off head and glued sandwich style on pumpkin stem. cut feathers 8 in also glued to pumpkin hand cut beak gobbler and the eyes are 2in circles cut in half made the bow and glued on. for a little character added a little feather at top of head.

To make this cutie I used sweet tooth cart the icecream cone cut (2d) at 11 and a half in.
then cut (2a) this is what I used for top of turkey box.(the head) also cut the feathers from this also the beak, wings and feet I drew and cut by hand.

heres how the back looks it is just the cut not folded makes great turkey feathers.

here is my project called Turkey Bribe!!!! treats in a bottle! I made this turkey bottle ( "bribe,eat chicken!) the turkey is offering candy so you dont eat him. ha cut a 10oz water bottle in half add candy then used packing tape to put bottle back together. add a 2in strip to cover tape cut turkey at 4in from create a critter punched holes on both sides of turkey tye around the bottle at top cut 1in circle put to: and from: your friend turkey!

I made this little box cut from spring holiday cards cart and used turkey cut file just added glitter and used a sunflower for feathers . super easy and cute little pick me up gift.
